Looking for an exciting new Marketing Manager role? At Vixen Labs, you'd be the owner and driver of our marketing and communications strategy, focused on growing the agency’s reputation both in the UK but also in the US and Europe.

The Marketing Manager role is the owner and driver of the marketing and communications strategy at Vixen Labs.

This role will drive the growth of VL’s reputation as a top tier voice agency in the global digital market. Vixen Labs is an established agency in the voice assistant space and is now competing on a global stage – therefore this role will be focused on growing the agency’s reputation both in the UK but also in the US and Europe.

The Marketing Manager will work alongside the internal Vixen Labs creative team to manage the day to day running of all VL owned, earned and paid media channels, and be responsible for briefing external and internal partners to deliver on the marketing strategy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create awareness of and develop the VL brand, working with VL’s Creative Lead and Exec team

  • Communicate with target audiences and build and develop customer relationships across social media, email, web and PR channels

  • Own the marketing strategy and executional plans across paid advertising, direct marketing and campaigns

  • Support the VL creative team in delivering agreed activities

  • Work closely with in-house or external creative agencies to design marketing materials, e.g. thought leadership content and reports

  • Commission and proof marketing copy for web, social and pr content

  • Commission and ensure the quality delivery of creative content, including creative campaigns, marketing activities such as Vixen Labs’ flagship research reports, social media presence and PR activities

  • Oversee the running of the Vixen Labs social media channels (e.g. Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn) to enhance audience engagement (managed and executed by the Social Media Executive)

  • Manage the day to day activity of the social media executive role (part time contractor)

  • Attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions as needed

  • Work with Exec team on sponsorships and events strategy and execution

  • Ensure the maintenance of the VL CRM Databases to track inbound leads and editorial opportunities

  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external

  • Own the marketing strategy (as part of wider engagement with the SLT and Exec team)

  • Evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising and SEO to make sure the correct mediums are being used and campaigns are effective

  • Track marketing performance and return on investment and prepare weekly or monthly reports for management

  • Monitor and report on competitor activity

  • Lead external agencies, when appropriate, to effectively manage events, press relationships, editorial requests, presentations, promotional materials and online activities

  • Oversee and manage the marketing budget.

  • Can present to c-suite and senior level clients alongside a senior colleague

  • Can contribute to New Business efforts

  • Can network confidently in the Voice sector

  • Can pre-empt and issues before they arise and suggest ways to mitigate

  • Can take full ownership of project’s delivery timeline and be trusted by the lead to work independently, flagging issues when appropriate

  • Can confidently participate in client meetings, challenging timelines as appropriate

  • Can confidently plan project resourcing with minimum input from colleagues

FLEXIBLE WORKING

Candid is one of our values, so if flexible working is something you need, we want to be upfront from the beginning of what we need for this particular role. This has to be a full time role, but it could be fully remote, agency hours are 9.30am-6pm
